Real estate investment manager Meyer Bergman has disposed of a shopping centre in the Czech Republic for €82.6 mln.

Forum Ústi nad Labem was sold to listed property company New Europe Property Investors, five years after Meyer Bergman European Retail Partners (MBERP) acquired it together with Forum Nová Karolina in Ostrava, in a partnership with Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP).

The mall is the dominant shopping centre in northern Bohemia, with 27,800 m2 of retail space and tenants including H&M, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike and Deichmann. The anchor tenant is the Billa supermarket chain and the centre also has a five-screen Cinema City.

Mark Gamble, head of asset management at Meyer Bergman, said: 'Since acquiring the asset, we have improved the tenant mix and cashflow performance while cementing its position as the dominant shopping centre in Northern Bohemia. This has enabled us to bring in 30 new brands, many of them international, as we carried out the first wave of lease renewals.'

MBERP was advised on the disposition by Cushman Wakefield, Tomsa, and PWC, while NEPI was represented by Clifford Chance and E&Y.
