European investment manager Meyer Bergman has appointed Herman Kok to the newly created role of head of research.
Kok joins Meyer Bergman following a 16-year career at Multi Corporation, where he worked in a variety of functions, including research for its investment activities and international expansion. He began his career at a real estate consultancy in Budapest and in 2001 joined the International Council of Shopping Centers’ (ICSC) European Research Group as a senior research analyst.
Meyer Bergman has added seven new members to its team in addition to Kok in the past 12 months, lifting its number to 38 in Europe. Among the senior hires this year was the appointment of Ben Williams as a principal focused on structuring, finance and transaction execution. In April, Gavin Green joined the firm as General counsel. The firm has also appointed Matthew Armitage as vice president in its Finance, Tax & Legal team, while adding four new analysts: Marielle Duschene, William Lucas, Oskar Sköldberg and Alexandre Tuchmuntz.
