Some 75% of the Metropolis business complex in Moscow has now been leased following an agreement with a major international company ranking among the largest top 25 companies according to Fortune 500. The lease marks Jones Lang LaSalle’s 10th deal in the business complex.

Metropolis, a new mixed-use office and retail complex located on Leningradskoe Shosse, is being developed by Capital Partners. Other Moscow projects by Capital Partners include the luxury Ritz Carlton Hotel as well two world class warehouse projects.

Metropolis is located on one of the city’s major thoroughfares, just a 10-minute drive from the city centre and 18 km from the international airport Sheremetyevo. The complex has a total surface area of 330,000 m2 including a retail and entertainment area of 215,000 m2 and three office buildings covering 115,000 m2.

Ted Sullivan, Managing Director, Capital Partners: ' We are pleased with the leasing results to date and are proud to have such an impressive tenant roster for all three buildings that includes some of the world's best known companies. We will be moving aggressively to sign leases to fill the remaining space. The fact that this Class A building is located outside the centre of town, on a major thoroughfare, only nine kilometers from the Garden Ring, will make it very attractive to prospective tenants from a financially viable standpoint and will help lease this space in what otherwise is a challenging economic environment.'
