Russia's Metropol Group has entered into an agreement with Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts to develop a luxury hotel at Metropol's Sveti Marko (Saint Marko) island resort in Montenegro.
Russia's Metropol Group has entered into an agreement with Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts to develop a luxury hotel at Metropol's Sveti Marko (Saint Marko) island resort in Montenegro.
International real estate firm Savills advised Metropol on the deal with Banyan Tree of Singapore. Savills said Sveti Marko Island will be Europe's first integrated six-star island resort, enhancing Banyan Tree's move into Europe.
Metropol will continue to invest in the project, while Banyan Tree Hotels Group will manage the hotel, spa and provide resort management services.
Savills has been appointed as development manager and global sales agent.
