NAI Pickard (NAIP) is joining forces with Germany's Metro Group Asset Management to launch a new property management joint venture in Ukraine called the Property Management Group. The new company will combine Metro's facility management skills with the long-term experience of a leading full service property consultancy, NAIP said on Monday.
The companies have already entered into a cooperation agreement and now are in the process of setting up a new business entity. The partners are already negotiating with several shopping malls and business centres around the country to take on the total property management.
'We already manage 23 Metro Cash&Carry stores, soon to be followed by our Real and Media brand, around Ukraine so we have the proven expertise in total facilities management,' said Christian Lange, managing director of Metro Group Asset Management Ukraine. Sergey But, managing director of NAI Pickard, added: 'This is probably the most exciting development in the field of total property management in Ukraine as it will bring a new level of property management service to the Ukrainian market.'
