Romanian developer Metav has obtained the construction permit from Voluntari City Hall for a new residential project in Pipera, north of Bucharest.
Construction work on the €40 mln project will start this month and is due for delivery in June 2026.
Bellemonde will cover 41,000 m2 and feature 93 villas and 71 apartments. It will include a variety of housing options, such as single-family homes, duplexes, townhouses, and individual villas. Apartments will range from 2 to 4 rooms.
All buildings within Bellemonde are designed with a low-rise regime, with a maximum height of GF+2 floors (ground floor plus two floors). The project prioritizes energy efficiency, utilizing heat pumps, ventilated facades, and electrified parking spaces. Additionally, 33% of the complex's area will be dedicated to green spaces and leisure activities, promoting a sustainable lifestyle.
Victor Terhe?, sales director of Bellemonde, said: ‘Bellemonde offers enhanced security, low density, and integrates the latest sustainable technologies, as we believe that the NDA of a truly good life starts at home. The core of the Bellemonde community is the Society Hub, where residents will benefit from a top-designed lounge space suitable for relaxation and socialization.’
Public transportation, educational facilities, shopping centers, and recreational areas are all located near the development.
Metav has a successful track record in northern Bucharest, with projects like Belvedere Residences (Phases 1 and 2), Zenville, and IQON in their portfolio. The group is planning another residential development near Bellemonde, designed to offer a variety of amenities, spacious living areas, and green spaces.
