Consumer electronics retailer MediaMarkt has signed an agreement with Keen Property Partners Retail (KPP Retail) to lease 3,300 m[sup]2[/sup] at Galeria Victoria in the southwestern Polish city of Walbrzych.
Consumer electronics retailer MediaMarkt has signed an agreement with Keen Property Partners Retail (KPP Retail) to lease 3,300 m2 at Galeria Victoria in the southwestern Polish city of Walbrzych.
MediaMarkt will occupy a store on the first floor of Galeria Victoria. KPP Retail started development of the entertainment and retail centre in February 2009 with the opening planned for 16 October this year.
Galeria Victoria will be the first modern retail, entertainment, residential and hotel complex in Walbrzych and the surrounding region, bringing the first multiplex cinema (Cinema City), restaurants and coffee shops and many highly-desired Polish and international retail brands to the city for the first time. The two-storey shopping complex will house an Intermarché Super supermarket (approximately 3,000 m2) and approximately 180 shops
In 2009 KPP Retail was ranked 25th in the ranking of top European developers published by PropertyEU.
