Global health equity champion Médecins du Monde has sold its historic headquarters in Paris to Keys REIM for a figure believed to be in the €30 mln range.
The office, situated at 62 rue Marcadet, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, comprises 4,800 m2.
In a second deal, Médecins du Monde, which is also known as Doctors of the World, also acquired a new HQ from B&C France. Dubbed Station 84, and located outside the centre in Saint-Denis, the asset is currently being renovated. Financial details were not disclosed.
The office at 84 rue du Président Wilson comprises 4,600 m2 of work and service spaces divided into three buildings, focused around landscaped courtyards. The building also benefits from green terraces and patios, as well as a balcony on the top floor offering a panoramic view of the capital.
Located in the heart of a new development district, connected to all strategic points in Paris (both by road and public transport), this new hybrid space was designed to promote the well-being and creativity of its occupants.
Savills advised Médecins du Monde in both deals.
Boris Cappelle, head of Savills France, said: 'Our multidisciplinary project team, tenant rep, capital markets and building & project consultancy, is proud to have been able to support Médecins de Monde.
'The two-fold operation will allow this humanitarian association to benefit from a new headquarters in their image in a new neighbourhood in full development. We would like to thank all the Médecins du Monde teams for their trust.”'
B&C France was advised by law firm Notaridge and JLL on the sale of the Station 84 building.
