Cushman & Wakefield, the global property consultant, has appointed business consulting real estate executive Neil McLocklin, as a partner and head of its EMEA Business Consulting group based in London. He joins from Capita Symonds where he was director of Consultancy and Advisory Services.

McLocklin will focus on developing and growing C&W's EMEA business consulting offer which advises occupier clients on strategies and solutions to optimise operational performance through their real estate.

In line with C&W's strategic plan to grow this global service line, earlier this year Sophie Hodges joined the team in EMEA from Ernst & Young. In addition, Elizaveta Shaforostova is to transfer from C&W's Moscow office where she manages the Moscow occupier research team to work with the team based in London.

This latest appointment is part of an ongoing strategic recruitment initiative across C&W. Recent senior appointments within C&W's EMEA Corporate Occupier and Investor Services team this year include Simon Ward, partner in account management who was previously group property director at Barclays; Andrew Smart, new head of facilities management; Markus Reinert, head of Asset Management and Investor services who joined from JLL, and James Crisp, Account management partner from Capita Symonds.
