Masso group, owned by Barcelona's ex major Enric Masso, is to acquire a 13% stake in the Catalan property company Aisa, Masso has informed the news agency Europa press. Financing for the transaction, valued at about EUR 68 mln, should be guaranteed by a capital hike scheduled to get approval at Aisa's extraordinary meeting on December 29. The capital hike is of the order of EUR 30.26 mln, and will be raised through the release of about 5 million shares valued at EUR 6 per share.

The operation will be carried out through patrimonial contributions by Masso group, which will give it a 13% stake in Aisa, as agreed by the board. Masso is to cede a 7-floor building in Paseo de Gracia, one of Barcelona's most commercial streets, and an office building also in the centre of the city. The two buildings are valued at about EUR 81 mln.

Aisa group has assets in central, southern and northeast Spain.
