London-based commercial real estate practice Maples Teesdale has recruited two new partners within its finance team.

Ajoy Bose-Mallick, who joins from Irwin Mitchell and was previously at Hogan Lovells, specialises in advising both lenders and borrowers and has a wide range of general secured lending experience including real estate finance, acquisition finance, project finance and refinancing transactions.

Chen Ikeogu joins from Shepherd and Wedderburn, prior to which he was at Pinsent Masons, and specialises in real estate finance for lenders and borrowers with additional experience in leveraged finance, asset-backed lending, project finance and restructuring.

Maples Teesdale’s property finance clients currently include Avignon Capital, Aumm Holdings and Lloyds Bank.
