European mall specialist Multi has opened a dinosaur 'edutainment' attraction at Forum Istanbul, which is celebrating its second year of operation.

Forum Istanbul is currently the largest shopping centre in Europe with 175,000 m2 of leasable space. The centre is fully let since the opening of Jurassic Land.

The park covers 10,000 m2 and was built with US consultant NK&A, who designed the original Jurassic Park in Los Angeles. It features 70 animatronic dinosaurs from baby raptors to Tyrannosaurus Rex, the largest 6-D movie theatre in Turkey and Europe, the Juracopter, a science museum, research centre, egg incubation facility and shop.

Multi Jurassic land is now just one of the 10 attractions at Forum Istanbul which has over 30,000 m2 dedicated to leisure, which Multi notes is equal to a mid-sized mall.
