Thirteen shopping centres representing six European countries have been shortlisted for the 2014 ICSC European Awards, jury chair Jan Eijkemans announced at Mapic.

Five of the finalists are in located in Germany. The other five countries represented are the Czech Republic, France, Turkey, the UK and Sweden.

Every year, ICSC Europe presents awards to the best retail developments in Europe, including new and refurbished retail or entertainment projects and established centres.

The jury will commence its tour of all the finalists across Europe early in the New Year before a final decision is made ahead of the winners’ announcement at the 39th ICSC Europe Conference in Istanbul next April.

All European Award winners will be automatically submitted to the 2015 ICSC VIVA Best-of-the Best Awards Program to be announced in May 2015.
