Retail developments in Italy, France and Russia won key prizes at the Mapic Awards ceremony in Cannes on Thursday evening.

Il Centro in Milan, developed by Finiper, won the award for Best New Shopping Centre. Les Docks Village in Marseille, developed by Constructa Urban Systems, was voted Best Urban Retail Project, while Hines’ Village Belaya Dacha in Moscow picked up the prize for Best Outlet Centre.

Spanish retail company Neinver won the award for Best O2O (Online to Offline) Strategy, while the 24 Hour Ejder Club in London, submitted by Appear Here, took the award for Best Pop Up Shop.

Other European winners included Dutch cosmetics retailer Rituals, founded by Raymond Cloosterman, which won the award for Best Retail Global Expansion. The award for Best New Retail Concept went to Zing pop culture in France.
