M&G Real Estate has appointed Jose-Luis Pellicer to the newly created role of head of investment strategy.
Pellicer was formerly Patrizia's group head of research for just over a year, following the integration of Patrizia, Triuva and Rockspring.
He had previously directed Rockspring's research operations for more than seven years, where he was also a partner.
M&G flagged it would be creating a head of investment strategy role earlier this year.
Pellicer's previous positions include research and strategy director at AEW Europe, as well as vice president at Goldman Sachs.
An earlier spell at Rockspring saw him head up research for European markets, following roles in strategy at Deutsche Bank and EBRD.
