The project, located on Great Jackson Street, will significantly alter the city's skyline. With a combined gross development value exceeding £1 bn (€1.2 bn), it is one of the largest developments in the area, adding 2,388 homes across 0.5 hectares. The plans include two residential towers, The Lighthouse and The Green, designed by SimpsonHaugh Architects.

The 71-story Lighthouse will feature 642 homes, including a public restaurant on the top floor. Notably, it will surpass the South Tower as Manchester's tallest building. Additionally, the development will feature a three-story office building with a gross internal area of 2,062 m2.

Located across two plots of land, The Green will consist of four new towers, offering a total of 1,746 homes. Additionally, the development will include 14 commercial units, 11 of which are designated for retail purposes, with a combined floor space of approximately 1,300 m2.

In addition to the residential units, the development will include commercial spaces, a public green area, and parking facilities, as well as luxurious amenities such as private garden terraces, indoor suites and lounges, a gym, a Peloton spin space, and a dedicated workspace.

However, the lack of affordable housing within the project drew criticism from some council members. Ultimately, the committee approved the application, recognizing the economic benefits and the Manchester-based developer's commitment to public spaces.
