Real estate private equity firm Madison International Realty has appointed Michael Siefert and Evan Abrams as co-heads of Global Equity Capital Markets.
Based in Frankfurt and New York, respectively, Siefert and Abrams will jointly oversee the firm's Equity Capital Markets and Investor Relations team, which operates across seven offices worldwide.
In their new roles, Siefert and Abrams will be responsible for fostering existing relationships with institutional clients and seeking out new opportunities with investors seeking differentiated real estate investment strategies. Their focus will be on asset classes such as data centers, industrial properties, cold storage facilities, single-family and multifamily housing, and other sectors. They will report directly to Ronald Dickerman, president and founder of Madison.
Michael Siefert brings over two decades of experience to the role, having served as head of Germany and a member of Madison's Executive Management Team. He has been instrumental in driving business development and fundraising initiatives in the European and Middle Eastern regions. Siefert’s extensive network of real estate professionals spans the globe, and he is a regular participant in industry events such as Expo Real, MIPIM, USA Conference, and INREV.
Evan Abrams, previously managing director of Strategic Investor Solutions at Madison, has been spearheading fundraising efforts in the United States. With 18 years of experience in capital raising, Abrams has held key positions at Lazard, Hunt Companies, Hodes Weill & Associates, and Credit Suisse. His expertise includes managing marketing and capital raising initiatives and cultivating strong investor relationships.
