Madison International Realty, the New York headquartered real estate private equity firm, has appointed Kenny Moon as managing director of real estate platform investing.

Moon will be based in Madison’s Los Angeles office. With more than 15 years experience in real estate investment and finance, he will focus exclusively on Madison’s real estate platform initiatives providing growth capital to public and private real estate companies.

Moon’s investment experience spans numerous property types and he will seek to broaden the utilisation of the firm’s capabilities.

Moon previously served 12 years with Almanac Realty Investors, Neuberger Berman Group, where his most recent position was managing director.

At Almanac, he sourced, analysed, underwrote and executed entity-level investments into private and public real estate operating companies in the US and Canada, and previously served on the boards of HRIP Holdings and PREP Property Group.

Earlier in his career, he held roles at ING Clarion Partners and Citigroup.
