M7 Real Estate is engineering a change of leadership from 1 October with current CEO Richard Croft handing over to CIO, David Ebbrell (pictured).
Croft’s duties will be refocussed on group growth including expanding to Asia as executive chairman.
Other senior management reshuffles are taking place, with Teresa Gilchrist, head of investor relations, overseeing day-to-day operations, for example.
'The job of chief executive had become too large in its current format,’ said Croft. ‘We decided to split the role so I can concentrate on core capital relationships, strategy and growing the business.’
M7 was established in 2009 initially to focus on industrial property deals.
It manages around €8.5 bn of assets and employs over 250 people with operations in 13 countries.
