Pan-European investor and asset manager M7 Real Estate has appointed Peter Wenzel as managing director, Germany, as the company continues its growth in this region.

With almost 15 years of experience in the real estate and asset management sectors, Wenzel joins M7 from RLI Investors where he spent the past six years, initially as a director, responsible for deal sourcing and asset management before being promoted to managing director.

Wenzel will be responsible for overseeing the team in Germany and driving M7’s growth in the German market, especially in the industrial and office sectors, on behalf of its pan-European value add funds and separate account mandates.

Prior to joining RLI, Wenzel was a vice president at PGIM where had a focus on light industrial and logistics space, and also spent over five years at GLL Real Estate Partners.

Wenzel is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe and a postgraduate degree in Real Estate Private Business from the Private Real Estate Business School in Munich.
