London-based investment firm M7 Real Estate has appointed David Simmonds as chief financial officer.
Simmonds joins M7 from APN Property Group, where he was finance director of Australian Securities Exchange-listed Industria REIT from its launch in December 2013.
Previously he worked in a number of European markets, including as chief financial officer for Europe in APN's London Office. Between 2007 and 2010 he was finance director for the Goodman Group, with responsibility for its European Business Parks division.

Established in 2009, M7 is an investor and asset manger with 90 staff operating in the UK, Denmark, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Portugal, Poland, the Czech Republic and Croatia. During 2015 it increased the value of its assets under management by 60% to around €1.7 bn.
