M7 Real Estate has expanded its recently opened business in Lisbon through the appointment of Eduardo Craveiro Lopes as senior asset manager for Portugal.
Reporting to Leonardo Peres, managing director for Portugal, Craveiro's core role comprises asset management for MPort, a €250 mln joint venture set up by M7 in October to invest in high yielding Portuguese real estate.
He will also have responsibility for actively sourcing further investment opportunities and their subsequent integration into the MPort portfolio.
Immediately prior to joining M7, he worked as a Senior Asset manager at Construmed, a Portuguese residential asset management company which manages over 700 properties. He brings more than 13 years of multi-sector experience within the Portuguese real estate market.
M7 opened its Lisbon office, the eighth in its pan-European platform in October 2015. M7 formed the MPort joint venture with a well-capitalized US investment manager and most recently agreed to acquire its first two assets in Portugal. The JV has another €60 mln of assets under offer.
