Richard Croft, a UK-based real estate professional who stepped away as chairman of M7 Real Estate group in 2023 two years after selling it to Oxford Properties, has launched a new company.
Martley Capital Group is being staffed by around 40 former colleagues and new hires, and said it has several new funds and individual transactions with an opportunistic and value add focus covering credit, equities and direct real estate. The company said it was seeking to take advantage of current dislocation in the real estate markets.
It has five offices in the UK and Europe, with a starting AUM of £720 mln (€835 mln) across nine existing mandates.
Croft told contacts on social media: 'We have finally launched Martley Capital formally. I am very excited to be working with a number of old and new colleagues to take advantage of the numerous opportunities that exist in this market.'
