Swedish property company M2 Gruppen has bought three resi assets in the city of Växjö from competitor Kungsleden.
'These sales are fully consistent with our new strategy, which includes focusing and concentrating our property portfolio,’ said Kungsleden’s CEO Biljana Pehrsson. ‘These transactions free up capital that we can re-invest in new commercial properties in economic growth regions.’
The sales have created a profit of €3.5 mln, according to Kungsleden, following their purchase from GE Real Estate in autumn 2013.
Växjö is a city of around 65,000 people, 230 km southeast of Gothenburg. The three assets, at Oxdragaren 1, Vinaman 6 and Djäknen 4, are all in the centre of the city.
