LPP (Logistics Property Partnership), a joint venture between Segro and asset manager Moorfield, has let its 38,000 m2 Sheffield logistics site on a 15-year deal.

The site has been taken by Great Bear, a logistics business that handles distribution for Unilever and supermarket chain Sainsbury's. It already has 370,000 m2 of UK warehouse space.

The letting was handled by Knight Frank. Partner Rebecca Schofield said the rental, 'sees the last unit of this size in South Yorkshire now taken. There has been a reduction in the supply of large scale units over the last 12 to 18 months.'

LPP Sheffield is just off the M1, the UK’s main north-south motorway.
