AIM-listed opportunistic investor London & Stamford Property has completed the acquisition of a block of apartments in Highbury Square, London for £41.4 mln (EUR 45 mln) from Highbury Holdings.

AIM-listed opportunistic investor London & Stamford Property has completed the acquisition of a block of apartments in Highbury Square, London for £41.4 mln (EUR 45 mln) from Highbury Holdings.

The apartment block is located predominantly in the North Stand, The Stadium, Highbury Square, N5. The acquisition also includes a number of car parking spaces.

The apartments comprise a mix of one- and two-bedroom flats and three-bedroom penthouses set over eight floors on the historic site, which was home to the Arsenal Football Club until 2006, and are well connected to Central London by public transport.

London & Stamford has equity funded the acquisition and will look to raise debt against the purchase in due course. Knight Frank have been appointed as letting agents with immediate effect.
