The Amsterdam-based company lifted its total volume of completed projects in the period under review by more than 70% year-on-year to 2.1 million m2, earning it a third place in the ranking.

The ranking is based on projects completed between 2014-16.

As announced previously, Panattoni claimed the top spot in PropertyEU's top logistics developers ranking this year with 2.7 million m2, followed by Sydney-listed Goodman Group with 2.2 million m2.

While Panattoni and Goodman both have a strong presence in Poland and Germany, Prologis has a true pan-European presence and is a leader in the two other key markets in Europe, namely France and the UK.

Earlier this year Prologis announced it has teamed up with CBRE Global Investment Partners – a division of CBRE Global Investors – to form a new logistics development venture in the UK.
