European logistics real estate specialist Logicor has appointed Janica Gerecke as the new country manager for Germany to deliver its growth strategy in the country.

Gerecke will lead the team to further drive the German operations of Logicor, in line with the business’ focus on growing its footprint in key European markets.

She has over a decade of experience in the real estate industry, was a member of the executive board at Garbe Industrial Real Estate and most recently responsible for the platform’s international business activities.

The appointment marks Logicor’s strong commitment to strengthening its presence in Europe and to accelerate its development and redevelopment pipeline across Germany, with continued growth anticipated for the year ahead.

The German operating platform has a strong pipeline with more than 250.000 m2 GLA of development and redevelopment projects initiated, ongoing or being delivered across key logistics hubs including Hamm, Rheine, Neuss, Nurnberg, Langenfeld, Frechen and Hannover.

Presently, Logicor owns 3.2 million m2 of logistics real estate in Germany with a strong presence in the Rhine-Main region, Dusseldorf and Cologne in the Ruhr region, Munich, Duisburg, Nuremberg and Hamburg, the largest seaport in Germany and the second-busiest port in all of Europe.
