In a statement, Logicor said that the acquisition ‘is a strategic move that will strengthen Logicor’s presence in a key European market where demand for modern logistics space continues to outstrip supply’.

The site has the potential to develop around 9,000 m2 of logistics space, split over two equal sized units.

The high quality, energy efficient developments will target Breeam Excellent or equivalent with solar panels and LED lighting and green space designed to support the local biodiversity of the site.

Located less than 30km from the centre of Stockholm, the site has direct access to the E4 motorway connecting Stockholm to Arlanda Airport, Northern Sweden, and the major cities to the south: Gothenburg, Jönköping, Malmö and Helsingborg.

‘Through this strategic acquisition, we are continuing to build our presence in the region where we know supply of quality logistics space is low, and where our customers want to be,’ said Christoffer Walljaeger, Logicor director, Asset Management in Sweden.

This land adds to the 1.7million m2 portfolio within Logicor’s Nordic region.

Headquartered in London and Luxembourg, Logicor owns a portfolio of 594 high-quality properties with a lettable area of 13.4 million m2 located in key European logistics markets.
