The seller was Kilenkrysset, a private Swedish landowner. The price is undisclosed.

The two new land acquisitions follow Logicor’s recent acquisitions of sites in Gothenburg and Rosersberg and once developed, will further expand and strengthen Logicor’s presence in Sweden.

The first site is in Nykvarn, one of the best logistics sub-markets serving Greater Stockholm, and will accommodate more than 60,000 GLA m2. The land plot is located west of Södertälje close to the main transport network of the E20 westward, road 55 with north and southbound connections, as well as with the E4 and Södertälje port.

The second site is in Staffanstorp - Malmo, and will accommodate more than 40,000 m2. The land plot is located only five kilometres from the E6, which connects Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Copenhagen. The E22, linking Malmö with Norrköping to the north in Sweden, is also nearby.

The planning process is expected to begin in Q2 2024, with the construction phase to commence in the first half of 2025 for both projects. The developments will target BREEAM Excellent certifications.

The company owns 1.1 mln m2 of real estate across the Nordic regions, an area where demand for well located, sustainable assets continues to outstrip supply, and manages an additional 500,000 m2 in AUM.
