Pan-European logistics property group Logicor has purchased a 61,000 m² development site in Lelystad, the Netherlands, in an off-market deal.
The site was purchased from development combine RJB Group/DevCo Real Estate.
The complex will comprise three separate units and is being developed ‘off grid’ with its own power source largely derived from solar panels and an on-site medium-term storage facility.
The development is located near the A6 motorway close to Lelystad Airport, around 55 km northeast of Amsterdam.
The construction permit has been secured and the development is due to be completed in 2024.
Logicor was advised on the transaction by Savills (technical) and Houthoff (legal). The vendor was legally assisted by DLA Piper.
