The property was acquired from Lillot Zweite in a deal brokered by Colliers International.

The adviser said the transaction is the biggest in Austria in terms of the rent achieved per square metre. A rent of €21,000 per m2 was secured for the 1,117 m2 building, compared with the previous record of €10,000 per m2.

The 1914 townhouse building, located at 3 Plankengasse, is close to the Neuer Markt square and comprises a top-floor luxury penthouse, retail unit on the ground and first floors, and offices on levels two and three.
