Liberty is the latest company to announce capital raisings over the past weeks. On Thursday, Land Securities announced plans to raise net proceeds of £755.7 mln (EUR 860 mln) through a discounted rights issue. Segro and Brixton also unveiled plans to raise capital this week, while Hammerson raised £584 mln last week and British Land another £740 mln.
