Legal & General Property has received planning consent for the St Stephens Place leisure park which will be developed in the vicinity of the company's Castle Place shopping centre in Trowbridge, UK.
The scheme, which includes a new seven-screen digital cinema operated by Odeon and an 80-bed Premier Inn hotel, as well as provision for seven family restaurants, cafes and bars, will be built on a 3.5 acre former Tesco store site. Completion is scheduled for autumn 2013.
The site was bought by LGP's Legal & General UK Property Trust in spring 2009.
