Leonardo Hotels has completed its 40th hotel acquisition in Europe in just two years, according to the firm, marking a significant milestone in its ambitious expansion strategy.
Fattal European Partnership, the group's investment arm, has inked over €1.5 bn in deal volume since its creation in 2022, with over 6000 rooms added to the group.
The Partnership recently launched its third fund and has already secured close to €420 mln from investors, a reflection of the success of Fund II which acquired 19 hotels across Europe at a total cost of approximately €850 mln.
The most recent acquisition from the group includes 12 hotels in the Netherlands that it purchased from the Zien Group, further solidifying Leonardo Hotels' presence in key European destinations. Leonardo Hotels will now become a major owner in the region as its portfolio in the Benelux increases to 28 hotels.

Over the past two years, other deals have included properties in the UK such as The Dilly in London, The Grand Hotel in Brighton, and the recently purchased Hotel Gotham in Manchester.
In Ireland, the group opened its first NYX hotel in Dublin; and recently closed on its acquisition of the five-star g Hotel in Galway and the Hard Rock Hotel Dublin – which will become a NYX hotel, and its eight hotel in Ireland.
In Scotland, the group is extending the Leonardo Royal Hotel in Edinburgh by 100 rooms, taking it to 286, and is soon to open a 125-room property next door, which will become a NYX hotel.
In Italy, the group acquired Hotel Cicerone Rome, which is set to undergo renovations and reemerge as NYX Hotel Rome by Leonardo Hotels, its eight property in Italy. In Paris, the group acquired the Prelude Opera Hotel – marking its first hotel in France.
Other key deals have also been inked in Austria, Spain and Cyprus, as well as Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany.
