Lend Lease has announced the appointment of Simon Hipperson as chief executive officer for the Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, effective 1 October 2012.
Lend Lease's former CEO, Dan Labbad, has moved to the post of Group Chief Operating Officer.
Between 2008 and 2011, Hipperson was a managing director of KKR, a private equity firm, where he was involved in establishing KKR Global Infrastructure Partners. Prior to this he was chief executive of Skanska Infrastructure Development, an investor, developer and operator of infrastructure across the UK, Scandinavia, Central Eastern Europe, North America and Latin America.
