Lend Lease has appointed Dan Labbad as group chief operating officer (COO) with effect from 2 July 2012.
Lend Lease has appointed Dan Labbad as group chief operating officer (COO) with effect from 2 July 2012.
Labbad has worked at Lend Lease for 15 years and has been CEO of the EMEA region since April 2010. He has worked in a range of leadership and operational roles in Australia and abroad in the retail, residential, infrastructure development and investment management businesses, as well as on major projects. A replacement for the role of CEO EMEA will be announced in due course and a plan will be put in place to ensure a smooth transition, Lend Lease said.
Craig van der Laan has been appointed chief strategy officer with effect from 21 May 2012, reporting to group chief executive officer and managing director Steve McCann.
Van der Laan has extensive experience in global public companies, having served in a variety of corporate, commercial and operational roles, most recently as group president of the Asia Pacific operations of Brambles Group's CHEP business, and chief risk officer at Leighton Group.
