Real estate adviser Savills has appointed Marcus Lemli as head of its German business from 1 October following the departure of Bernd-Uwe Willer to pursue new challenges.

Lemli rejoined Savills earlier this year to head its European investment operation following a six-year stint with Jones Lang LaSalle in Germany as head of its capital markets and leasing businesses. He originally worked for Savills Spain between 2004 and 2006. Lemli will continue to head Savills’ European investment operation alongside managing and expanding the firm’s German business.

Savills established a presence in Germany in 1973. The company currently has offices in Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne and Munich employing over 160 people.
