Pan-European logistics specialist Logistics Capital Partners (LCP) has hired John Pagdin to head up its new UK business unit as it expands into the country.
James Markby, LCP managing partner, said: 'It’s a logical extension for LCP to be entering the UK market, and having John’s specialist experience to effectively access the land market and build up a foundational pipeline of projects, will be key to our success and ability to offer clients great sites and value in the UK.
'We are already working on projects quietly in the background, and looking forward to the exciting evolution of our business together.'
Pagdin said: 'I’ve been working with LCP for some time and have been involved in some interesting projects which has enabled me to get to know both the team and the wider business.
'It’s the right moment to get on board and be involved in expanding the business. LCP has ambitious plans for the UK and has significant investor confidence as well as balance sheet capital so I look forward to growing the team and building on the success it has created elsewhere.'
Pagdin previously held positions in the capital markets teams at BNP Paribas Real Estate and SG Tritax, going on to set up his own land agency and development consultancy business specialising in opportunities aimed at UK logistics.
LCP’s team now comprises 28 people in seven countries.
