Law firm Simmons & Simmons has agreed to lease 5,000 m2 in the FOZ office project in Amsterdam's Zuidas office and residential district.
FOZ was designed by the Foreign Office Architects and comprises 10,300 m2 of office space and 2,400 m2 of general facilities. The property was developed by Mahler4, a consortium of G&S Vastgoed, ASR Vastgoed and ING Real Estate.
Simmons & Simmons will occupy the four lower floors of the building. Property adviser Van Gool + Elburg Vastgoedspecialisten acted for Simmons & Simmons in the leasing agreement, while the Mahler4 consortium was advised by Jones Lang Lasalle and DTZ Zadelhoff. The upper floors of FOZ, comprising the remaining 5,300 m2 of office space is still available for leasing.
FOZ - due for delivery in January 2010 - is owned by Credit Suisse Asset Management, which has also acquired the nearby Vinõly office building. The FOZ and the neighbouring UN Studio building form the last stage of the Mahler4 development.
