LaSalle Investment Management has been awarded a €500 mln global investment mandate by Germany's largest pension fund BVK.
The €55 bn Bavarian umbrella pension scheme for self-employed professionals - including doctors, lawyers and architects -has mandated LaSalle to seek real estate investment opportunities across all property types, various risk profiles, capital structures, and geographies.
The first investment is expected to be made this year.
