LaSalle Investment Management has appointed Daniel Pottorff as a director in the firm’s debt investments and special situations team, which currently manages €1.9 bn in capital.

LaSalle Investment Management has appointed Daniel Pottorff as a director in the firm’s debt investments and special situations team, which currently manages €1.9 bn in capital.

Portoff will focus on Western European investments and report to group heads Amy Aznar and Michael Zerda. He will also help source special situations opportunities in Europe, including loan portfolio, corporate, and equity transactions.

Pottorff joins LaSalle from Strategic Value Partners, where he was vice president with a focus on sourcing and underwriting European real estate back debt investments. Prior to this, he worked at Morgan Stanley and British Land.

His appointment follows the additions to the debt investments and special situations team of Greg Russell as portfolio manager, and analysts Bill Valatsos and Damien Pasini.
