LaSalle Investment Management has announced that Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz has been appointed to the newly created role of managing director, Europe, and will be the newest member of LaSalle's nine person Global Management Committee. Lloyd-Hurwitz will also be an international director of LaSalle's parent Jones Lang LaSalle.

LaSalle Investment Management has announced that Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz has been appointed to the newly created role of managing director, Europe, and will be the newest member of LaSalle's nine person Global Management Committee. Lloyd-Hurwitz will also be an international director of LaSalle's parent Jones Lang LaSalle.

Based in London and reporting to Simon Marrison, head of Europe, Lloyd-Hurwitz will be responsible for continuing to shape and evolve LaSalle's business strategy as well as exploring opportunities to grow the business and take advantage of a European recovery in real estate. She will also have executive responsibility for the core investment accounts and funds business lines. These business lines represent $13.4 bn (almost EUR 10 bn) in assets under management and employ over 235 people across Europe.

Lloyd-Hurwitz joins LaSalle with more than 20 years experience in real estate, having held a number of senior positions within the real estate and asset management industry across the globe; most recently as managing director with Macquarie Group Property Advisors (MPGA).
