Global asset manager LaSalle Investment Management has acquired an office building in Madrid from fund manager Royal Metropolitan.
Financial details were not disclosed, but local media reported that the deal volume was around €100 mln.
Located in Calle General Lacy, in the Méndez Álvaro neighbourhood, the asset is fully let to energy company Repsol.
The office was previously the headquarters of broker Aguirre Newman, which vacated the premises in June. Repsol subsequently relocated over 400 employeees to the property. The energy firm's main headquarters are situated less than 1 km away in Calle Mendez Álvaro.
