LaSalle Investment Management and Citygrove Securities have received planning consent from the City of London for the redevelopment of 60 London Wall, a mixed-use office and retail project.
When approved, the redevelopment will provide 320,000 sq ft (30,000 m2) of office space over 11 levels plus 18,000 sq ft (1,700 m2) of retail space. Delivery is expected in spring 2019.
'We acquired 60 London Wall because of its prime location in an area that is becoming more accessible, with Crossrail/Elizabeth line, as well as the opportunity to create significant additional lettable area and a first-class product that we will be delivering in 2019,' commented Gary Player, head of London Business Space, LaSalle Investment Management.
EPR Architects' design envisages adding four storeys to the current scheme and achieving a BREEAM Excellent rating.
Joint letting agents are Knight Frank and JLL.
