UK property company Landsec is creating a new regeneration-focused business in the wake of its acquisition of U+I in December.
U+I is a regeneration specialistwhich Landsec believes will help it deliver on three key areas – central London offices, major retail destinations, and mixed use urban neighbourhoods.
The new business will be created by integrating Landsec’s existing regeneration projects and teams with U+I.
Mike Hood, MD of U+I, will lead the new business as CEO with Richard Upton stepping down from that position and taking on a part-time role as senior advisor to the team.
