LGIM Real Assets (L&G) has appointed Adam Russell from Fizzy Living as residential transactions manager for its Build to Rent (BTR) team in the UK.
Russell previously worked as head of acquisitions at private rental landlord Fizzy Living. Prior to that he was an associate director in funding and development for Savill's residential.

Russell will report to Batterton and work alongside residential transactions manager Mike Powell to source land and development funding opportunities across the UK that fit L&G’s long-term BTR investment model.
L&G's BTR strategy includes providing specifically designed rental accommodation characterised by higher quality, customisable space and professional tenant services. To date, L&G has three Build to Rent sites in Walthamstow, Bristol and Salford to build a total of 900 homes. Further sites are currently being targeted.
