Land Secs poaches GPE's Noel to head London portfolio

Land Securities has appointed Robert Noel as managing director of its London Portfolio. The appointment will take effect from 1 January 2010.

Land Securities has appointed Robert Noel as managing director of its London Portfolio. The appointment will take effect from 1 January 2010.

Noel has been property director of Great Portland Estates, the specialist central London investment and development company, since 2002.

GPE said Noel will leave the company at the end of the month. Ben Chambers has been promoted to the executive committee as investment director, reporting to CEO Toby Courtauld.
