Swedish listed property company Kungsleden is acquiring a retirement home located in Uppsala, near Stockholm, through Hemsö, its joint venture with the Swedish Third Pension Insurance Fund (AP3).

Swedish listed property company Kungsleden is acquiring a retirement home located in Uppsala, near Stockholm, through Hemsö, its joint venture with the Swedish Third Pension Insurance Fund (AP3).

The investment volume is SEK 135 mln (EUR 14.3 mln).

This property will be constructed by Riksbyggen, with Hemsö taking possession when building is complete. The home will have 80 places with leasable area of approximately 5,500 m2. Completion of the development is scheduled for spring 2012.

A 150-year rental agreement has been signed with Attendo Care.
