Italian asset manager Kryalos has finalised the acquisition of three Grade A logistics assets in Piacenza and near Florence in Italy on behalf of its Thunder II fund.

Financial details were not disclosed.

The assets, which cover over 73,000 m2 of area, brings the fund's holdings to 20 logistics properties and two building plots for a total area of over 425,000 m2.

Paolo Bottelli, Kryalos CEO, said: 'This operation completes and further enriches the fund's portfolio which includes logistic assets located in consolidated logistic areas, perfectly connected both to the main cities and to the main motorways.'

The Piacenza property is located in a strategic position as a hub for both Milan-South and Bologna, and is a logistics complex that has a total gross lettable area of 19,946 m2 and 122 loading bays.

The other two assets, located near the city of Florence, are of recent construction, have a total area of over 53,000 m2, are served in total by 73 loading bays, and are entirely leased to major players active at national level.

Thunder II is underwritten by real estate investment vehicles attributable to Blackstone and managed by Kryalos.

All of the fund's assets are geographically located between Northern and Central Italy, across regions such as Lombardy, Piedmont, Veneto, Liguria, Tuscany and Lazio.
